Shashank Khaitan has Varun Dhawan down to his undies in Mr. Lele

A hilariously shocking poster of a petrified Dhawan in his undies, holding a gun, creates great intrigue around the Dharma Productions’ film

Director Shashank Khaitan and actor Varun Dhawan have combined to give two successful films – Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania [2014] and Badrinath Ki Dulhania [2017]. The duo come together again for another Dharma Productions’ project. Titled as Mr.Lele, Dharma Productions today released a hilariously shocking poster that has Dhawan in his undies.

“Just when you thought that the news couldn’t get any better, it got more entertaining! #MrLele aka @Varun_dvn along with @ShashankKhaitan are going to start 2021 with a bang! Releasing 1st Jan, 2021. @apoorvamehta18 @DharmaMovies,” tweeted Karan Johar.

Well, down to to his briefs, looking shit scared, that, too, even after holding a gun in his hand, and an orange waist pouch, Mr.Lele sure comes across as an interesting character. We tried getting a word from director Khaitan but to no avail.

Karan Johar’s tweet perhaps suggests that Mr.Lele could be a comedy of errors, and a story that perhaps gets in the media glare. Earlier, it was buzzed that Khaitan and Dhawan were working on a spy thriller. Well, perhaps, Mr.Lele is that spy thriller. Alternatively, looking at the poster and the title, the word ‘lele’ is a Hindi slang that refers to screwing someone. Dhawan certainly looks like a man petrified.

We will know the story in due time but the first look surely creates ample buzz around Mr.Lele.

Mr. Lele is set to be released on 1 January, 2021.

It must be recalled that Khaitan and Dhawan were also slated to work for an epic war film Ranbhoomi, but there is no development on that project.
