Chakraborty, her brother Showik, parents, and Rajput’s business manager Shruti Modi are all booked by the Patna police after Rajput’s father K.K Singh filed a complaint on 25 July.

There are hardly any concrete answers coming from the Mumbai police, but in a stunning move Bihar police has booked Rhea Chakraborty for abetting the suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput, as reported by CNN News18.
Chakraborty has been booked under Section 306 of Indian Penal Code. [abetment of suicide) It is not just the actress, but the Rajaeev Nagar police in Patna, Bihar has also booked Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty, her parents and Shruti Modi, the business manager of Rajput. This after Rajput’s father K.K. Singh had filed a case at the Rajeev Nagar police station.
As per the CNN News18 report, Bihar police has already touched down in Mumbai, though it is not clear whether to arrest Rhea, her family and Rajput’s business manager Shruti Modi or would they be first meeting the Mumbai police regarding the future course of action?
Speaking to us, Yogendra Ravidas, Additional S..H. O, Rajeev Nagar Police Station said, “Sushant’s father had filed a complaint against Rhea Chakraborty and a few others on 25 July at the Rajeev Nagar Police Station. A case has been filed under Section 306 of IPC. The investigation is being conducted. There is nothing more that we will be able to tell you now.”
So far the probe being conducted by the Mumbai police hasn’t yield any concrete answers. Investigating officer DCP Abhishek Trimukhe had earlier told Beyond Bollywood that so far they haven’t been able to pin point one particular reason for Rajput’s suicide.
Reportedly, the Mumbai police was probing Rhea Chakraborty usage of Rajpjut’s plastic money for the past 11 months. Trimukhe though had acknowledged that Rajput had invested into Showik Chakraborty’s company.
Rajput was found dead on 14 June in his Mumbai apartment. The actor was said to be undergoing treatment for depression since January, 2020.
