Criticised on social media for not standing up for Rajput, some finally call for swift justice for the Dil Bechara [2020] actor

The call for CBI inquiry into the death of Sushant Singh Rajput has only got louder after the late actor’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti made an emotional plea to all to support the family in getting justice for their beloved.
Rajput’s former girl friends Ankita Lokhande and Kriti Sanon led the way calling for a CBI inquiry into Rajput’s death.
“The nation wants to know what happened with Sushant Singh Rajput. Justice for Sushant. #CBIForSSR,” tweeted Lokhande in a video post.
Calling for a CBI inquiry, Kriti Sanon hoped that the truth will come out and the CBI conducts a fair probe without any political agenda.

Hitting at the Mumbai police for trying to rush the probe, Kangana Ranaut had tweeted through her digital team’s handle, “Mumbai police wants to rush the probe, Sanjay Raut saying they are almost done with the investigation, we deserve to know the truth #CBIForSSR”
For a month and half since his death, the likes of Kangana Ranaut had earlier pinned the blame on nepotism/gangism by legacy studios as the cause of Rajput’s death. The silence of Bollywood bigwigs has led to them being trolled on social media. It looks like some are finally mustering the courage to join the #CBIForSSSR movement.
Actor Varun Dhawan posted #CBIForSSR as an Instagram story.

Interestingly, actor Sooraj Pancholi, who himself has been accused of abetting Jiah Khan’s suicide and was falsely linked to the Rajput case, called for CBI inquiry to help Rajput’s family get justice and closure.

The Supreme Court is likely to pass a final verdict on whether to transfer the case to CBI on 14 August. The late actor’s girl friend Rhea Chakraborty has been accused by Rajput’s father K.K Singh of fraud, cheating and abetting his son’s suspected suicide. The family now suspects that Rajput could have been murdered.
