Ankita Lokhande, Kriti Sanon and Kangana Ranaut welcome CBI probe into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death

The Supreme Court of India has transferred the Sushant Singh Rajput case to the Central Bureau of Investigation. Dismissing Rhea Chakraborty’s plea for a transfer of FIR from Bihar to Mumbai, the Supreme Court ruled that the FIR filed in Bihar by Rajput’s father KK. Singh was lawful, and accepted the Bihar government’s call for a CBI probe into the actor’s death. As soon as the news broke, netizen and many celebrties welcomes the CBI probe into the matter.

Celebrities have welcomed this verdict and have hailed the Supreme Court as their prayers have finally been answered. Rajput’s former girlfriend and actor Ankita Lokhande tweeted, “Justice is the truth in action Truth wins …. #1ststeptossrjustice.”

Actor Kriti Sanon, who was rumored to be Rajput’s former girlfriend, has expressed her happiness on the verdict stating that the decision offers a ray of hope.

Sanon tweeted, “Last 2 months have been extremely restless with everything being so blurry. Supreme Court’s order to let the CBI investigate Sushant’s case is a ray of hope that the truth will finally shine. Let’s all have faith, stop speculating & let the CBI do their work now!#CBIForSSR

Firebrand Kangana Ranaut, who has expressed her desire for a CBI probe on several occasions, was naturally pleased with the apex’s court order.

“Humanity wins, congratulations to each one of SSR warriors, first time I felt such strong force of collective consciousness, AMAZING#CBITakesOver“, tweeted the actress.

Rather surprisingly, Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s son Parth Pawar took to his twitter handle in welcoming the verdict,

“सत्यमेव जयते!” (Satyameva Jayate!), tweeted junior Pawar.

Veteran actor Anupam Kher also went ahead and expressed his thoughts.

He further went on to add, “The ball is in the court… literally !!! #CBIForSSR

Neil Nitin Mukesh also expressed his happiness regarding the verdict.

Rajput’s friend Ranvir Shorey, who is pleased with SC’s decision, went on to tweet, “Pleased with the SC verdict to have #CBIForSSR. We all need to know the truth about the circumstances surrounding #SushanthSinghRajput’s death.”

Director Madhur Bhandarkar also welcomed the Supreme Court’s order.

“Welcome Judgement by the Hon. Supreme Court of India on the #SushanthSinghRajput case. Hope justice prevails. #CBIForSSR #JusticeforSushantSingRajput“, Bhandarkar tweeted.

Actor and former TV host Shekhar Suman who, along with Ranaut had been vocal about demanding a CBI probe into the investigation, too welcomed the CBI probe.

Shekhar tweeted, “Huge Congratulations to all of you.The Honb’le Supreme Court has given the verdict in favor of a CBI enquiry.Rejoice. #justiceforSushanthSinghRajput

There were more positive reaction to the SC order with the likes of Parineeti Chopra, Nimrat Kaur expressing their relief over the CBI probe for Sushant.

“This is a positive step! Please let’s respect this moment, and let the CBI do their work now! Please let’s stop speculating and coming to conclusions on our own .. #CBIforSSR#SushanthSinghRajput,'” tweeted Rajput’s Shudh Desi Romance [2013] actor.

An extremely important and necessary turn of events on the continually disturbing demise of Sushant Singh. Praying for justice and the full and final truth to emerge for his loved ones and dignity for his departed soul deserves. May there be no other noise here on. #CBIForSSR,” tweeted Kaur.
