The advocate of Dipesh Sawant tells reporters that no reason is given but bail application of all accused has been rejected by the Sessions Court

In another blow to Rhea Chakraborty, the Sessions Court in Mumbai has dismissed her bail application. The Jalebi  actor will continue to remain in judicial custody. A Magistrate Court had earlier sent Chakraborty to 14-day judicial custody. The Sessions Court also rejected the bail plea of Rhea’s brother Showik, Samuel Miranda. Dipesh Sawant, Zaid Vilatra and other accused.
The advocate of Dipesh Sawant told reporters that the judge rejected bail plea of Rhea and all six accused. The advocate stated that he will move the Bombay High Court for his client’s bail. Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde is likely to move the Bombay High Court next week.
Chakraborty, her brother Showik, and other accused have been charged of drug procurement, peddling under various sections of the NDPS [Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act]. Apart from the drug angle being probed by Narcotics Control Bureau, the Central Bureau of Investigation has been probing fraud, abettment ot suicide charge against Chakraborty. The Enforcement Directorate too has been probing an alleged misue [suspected money laundering] of Sushant Singh Rajput’s finances. The Dil Bechara  actor was found dead on 14 June in his Bandra residence.
