The drug angle being probed by the Narcotics Control Bureau has led to other star names like Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh being linked to the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Times Now had earlier claimed that Sara, designer Simone Khambatta, and actress Rakul Preet Singh figure in a ‘Bollywood list’ of alleged drug abusers prepared by the NCB. The Indian drug enforcement boyd has denied presence of any Bollywood list. Now actress Shraddha Kapoor’s name is also being whipped up in certain media reports. Citing NCB sources, certain channels and publications have reported that Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan Rakul Preet Singh are likely to be summoned by the NCB this week.

It didn’t take long for #ShraddhaKapoor to trend on Twitter. However, as opposed to the usual trolling, Kapoor found support among netizens. Kapoor has often copped criticism over her wooden acting, however, she is one of the most popular actors on social media. She has 13.4 million followers on Twitter, 17 million followers on her facebook page, and a staggering 55.8 million followers on Instagram. However, as the recent fake following scam involving rapper Badshah showed us, these numbers are now likely to be taken with a pinch of salt. Nevertheless, the actress found a truckload of support on Twitter with many enraged fans lashing out at the media.

There were some trolls, too, and this particular meme caught our attention.

Kapoor’s name has cropped up after reports emerged that she along with main accused Rhea Chakraborty,, Sara Ali Khan and etc used to take a ferry to visit Sushant Singh Rajput’s Lonavala farm house for alleged drug parties.

Kapoor had worked with Rajput in Chhichhore (2019). She had attended Rajput’s funeral too.
