Rhea Chakraborty moves Supreme Court seeking transfer of FIR against her in Bihar to Mumbai – Beyond Bollywood

Barely 24 hours after Sushant Singh Rajput’s father accused Rhea Chakraborty and her family of abetting his son Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide, the Jalebi [2018] actor has filed a petition in the Supreme Court through her lawyer Satish Manashinde seeking to transfer the case in Bihar to Mumbai.

“Petition filed by actor Rhea Chakraborty in Supreme Court seeking transfer of investigation in #SushantSinghRajput’s death to Mumbai: Satish Maneshinde, Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer. An FIR was filed by Sushant Singh Rajput’s father against Rhea in Bihar yesterday,” as posted by new agency ANI.

Chakraborty was dating Rajput for over a year and half. In his FIR, Rajput’s father K.K. Singh has accused Chakraborty and her family of fraud, cheating and driving his son to suicide. Chakraborty is alleged to have walked out of Rajput’s home on 8 June and also took away cash, jewellery, Rajput’s medical papers and his laptop. Singh had filed the complaint against Chakraborty at the Rajeev Nagar police station in Patna on 25 July.

Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai home on 14 June.
