Shweta Singh Kirti, Sushant Singh Rajput’s US-based sister has appealed to the people requesting for a Central Bureau of Investigation inquiry into the death of the Dil Bechara [2020] actor.
Kirti made a sincere appeal in a video post on Twitter.
“I request everyone to stand together and demand for CBI inquiry for Sushant. We deserve to know the truth. We deserve justice for Sushant otherwise we will never find closure. We will not be able to live a peaceful life,” Kirti said in the video.
The Supreme Court is likely to take a call on transferring the Sushant Singh Rajput to CBI case today. Main accused Rhea Chakraborty had filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking the transfer of the FIR in Bihar to Mumbai. The government of Maharashtra and Bihar have been at loggerheads over the jurisdiction in the case. Rajput was found dead on 14 June in his Mumbai apartment.
